The
Terrorist is a film that has world of references that can be effectively
incorporated into the making of a low budget film.It was shot on
a budget of around a 25000 $.
Santosh Sivan entered the protagonists mind by studying close ups
using an Arri 35-III outfitted with a Zeiss 60mm T3 macro lens.
The Terrorist was filmed on slow stocks. Kodak's 100 ASA EXR 5248
and Vision 200T 5274), Natural light was predominant and lighting
consisted of only 2.5K HMI and about four small tungsten fixtures.Santosh
shot everywhere..From the jungle to his own backyard.
"It's like an Abbas Kierostami film; I'd swear it was made in Iran.
It is even like an Ingmar Bergman With the liberal use of close-ups."
